Stephen Hall testified on Day 3 about finding Lindsay Clancy injured outside, discovering the children in the basement, and assisting during the emergency response. His account described Clancy's responsiveness and the scene without offering a clinical opinion about criminal responsibility.

About
Stephen Hall testified for the Commonwealth on Day 3 about his response to 47 Summer Street on January 24, 2023. The Duxbury police officer said he arrived with Officer Brian Josephine and found Lindsay Clancy on the ground with cuts that were not actively bleeding. He described her as intermittently conscious and unable to speak to him.
Hall said that after Patrick Clancy went inside and Hall heard a scream, the officers entered the basement. Hall found Dawson Clancy in a back room and accompanied Josephine as Josephine carried him outside. Hall then returned and saw medics working on Cora and Callan. He also described repeatedly replacing Lindsay Clancy's oxygen mask when she removed it.
During Jennifer Sprague's direct examination, Hall used photographs to identify locations, exercise bands, an open window, and blood marks around windows and on shingles. Several groups of photographs were admitted after defense counsel agreed to them and dispensed with further foundation. Hall qualified parts of his recollection, including Dawson's clothing, and could not remember the appearance of Dawson's face and neck. His testimony supplied observations rather than an explanation of how the injuries occurred or a clinical opinion about criminal responsibility. Kevin Reddington asked no substantive cross-examination questions, and Hall was excused.
