Coverage, sources, limitations, and how to cite the record.

What this is

The Lindsay Clancy Case Archive contains transcripts and courtroom video of the 2026 criminal trial in Commonwealth v. Lindsay Marie Clancy, No. 2383CR00198, in Plymouth Superior Court, Massachusetts. The case concerns the deaths of Cora, Dawson and Callan Clancy.

The transcripts cover July 27 through September 4, 2026, from opening statements to the mistrial. Jury selection and private sidebar conversations are not included.

Primary source

Transcripts were prepared from public courtroom broadcasts using speech recognition and edited for readability. Most recordings are from the Associated Press, with Court TV material used where AP footage is missing or disrupted. This is not an official court-reporter transcript.

Courtroom Video

Courtroom recordings are embedded from YouTube. Select a timestamp beside a transcript passage to open the corresponding moment in the recording, or use Watch Mode to follow the text alongside the video.

Supporting material

Summaries, profiles, and other guides are separate from the transcript. Some are produced with AI assistance and may contain errors or miss important context; use the transcript and cited records for important questions.

Accuracy and corrections

  • The transcript and supporting guides may contain errors. Verify important quotations against the recording and the official court record.

The full statement, including reuse and removal requests, is on the Terms of Use page.

How to cite

Identify the case, court, hearing date, speaker and recording timestamp, and include the transcript URL. Use the official court record when a certified transcript or legal citation is required.
